Barbecued Chicken With Vinegar Basting Sauce Recipe
- 1 1/4 c. Cider vinegar
- 4 tsp Chili pwdr
- 2 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 1/2 tsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp Dry mustard
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Grnd black pepper
- 1/2 tsp Grnd cumin
- 4 x Skinless boneless chicken breast halves
- Prepare barbecue (medium-high heat) or possibly preheat broiler.
- Whisk first 9 ingredients in small bowl to blend.
- Arrange chicken in shallow glass dish.
- Spoon 1/4 c. sauce over; turn to coat proportionately.
- Let stand at least 10 min and up to 30 min, turning chicken occasionally.
- Grill chicken till just cooked through, basting occasionally with another 1/4 c. sauce, about 5 min per side.
- Serve with remaining sauce.
- Serves 4.
