Parmesan Baked Pita Chips
- 4 whole Whole Wheat Pita Rounds
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 2 teaspoons Garlic, Minced
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Black Pepper
- 1/4 cups Parmesan Cheese, Grated
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
- Cut your pita rounds in half, then into thirds making triangles.
- Pull the pieces apart so youll end up with 6 pieces per half.
- Lay them on an ungreased cookie sheet in a single layer.
- In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper and stir.
- You may need to use a spoon to mash some of the garlic, or you can leave the tiny pieces intact for robust flavor.
- Brush the mixture on each pita triangle and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until lightly brown and toasted.
- Serve with your favorite dip, or eat them plain for healthy snacking.
- Serves 4.
