Simple, Plump & Soft Chicken Tender Yakitori

  1. Cut the chicken tender into 4 or 5 pieces (1 tender per skewer).
  2. Put the meat in enough sake to submerge it.
  3. Add the dashi stock and let soak for 30 minutes.
  4. Drain the chicken and sprinkle on the sesame oil.
  5. Skewer the chicken.
  6. Cook both sides of the chicken on a grill.
  7. Don't overcook!
  8. Don't make them golden brown.
  9. It's great when eaten with wasabi.
  10. If you feel the taste is lacking, add some salt!
  11. I also recommend yuzu pepper.
