Oh No! No Cheese Pizzette
- 2 whole Tortillas (Spelt, Whole Wheat, Or WhitePita Would Also Be Good, But I Never Tried It)
- 1 whole Medium Avocado, Mashed (I Used Pre-Mashed Avocado)
- 3/4 cups Salsa
- 1 cup Cream Sauce (Recipe Included)
- Cream Sauce:
- 1- 1/2 cup Milk ( Soy, Almond, Rice)
- 2 Tablespoons Cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoons Baking Soda
- 1 Tablespoon Oil
- 1/4 cups Brewers Yeast
- 2 teaspoons Soy Sauce
- Paprika
- Garlic Powder
- Pizza Seasoning
- 1/2 cups Corn Kernels. Fresh Off The Cob Or Frozen
- 1/2 cups Shredded Broccoli (I Buy Pre-packaged Broccoli)
- 1/2 cups Chopped Olives
- 1/4 cups Chopped Onions
- 2 cloves Garlic, Chopped
- Place the tortillas on a cookie sheet.
- To make the cream sauce:
- Pour the milk into a 1-quart pot.
- Combine the cornstarch, baking powder and soda in a small bowl and add some of the milk, stirring until the dry ingredients are dissolved.
- Put the cornstarch mixture back into the pot of milk.
- Heat the milk on medium.
- Add the rest of the sauce ingredients.
- Stir till thickened, making sure it doesnt stick to the bottom.
- To assemble the pizzette:
- For each tortilla, spread half the avocado, then half of the salsa, followed by 1/2 cup cream sauce.
- Divide all the veggies between each tortilla.
- Put the pizzettes under the broiler (not too close to the coils) for 2 to 5 minutes until ever-so-lightly browned.
