Oh No! No Cheese Pizzette

  1. Place the tortillas on a cookie sheet.
  2. To make the cream sauce:
  3. Pour the milk into a 1-quart pot.
  4. Combine the cornstarch, baking powder and soda in a small bowl and add some of the milk, stirring until the dry ingredients are dissolved.
  5. Put the cornstarch mixture back into the pot of milk.
  6. Heat the milk on medium.
  7. Add the rest of the sauce ingredients.
  8. Stir till thickened, making sure it doesnt stick to the bottom.
  9. To assemble the pizzette:
  10. For each tortilla, spread half the avocado, then half of the salsa, followed by 1/2 cup cream sauce.
  11. Divide all the veggies between each tortilla.
  12. Put the pizzettes under the broiler (not too close to the coils) for 2 to 5 minutes until ever-so-lightly browned.
