Kiwi Strawberry Torte
- 1 pint strawberry
- 2 kiwi fruits
- 14 cup strawberry syrup (such as Nestle's, it can be found in the chocolate syrup section)
- 10 34 ounces frozen pound cake
- 8 ounces vanilla pudding, prepared from dry mixture (or even easier, use premade pudding from the dairy section)
- Wash strawberries, cut stems off and cut into bite-size pieces.
- Place in medium mixing bowl.
- Cut ends off kiwi and peel.
- Quarter kiwi, cut into bite-size pieces and add to strawberries.
- Add strawberry syrup and mix.
- Refrigerate.
- Remove frozen cake from packaging and place on a microwave-safe plate; a paper plate is o.k.
- too.
- Microwave on high for 1 minute, or until cake is thawed.
- Cut cake in half widthwise, then in half horizontally, making 4 equal pieces of cake.
- Place 1 cake on each serving plate and cover if not serving right away.
- Just before serving, divide pudding equally on top of each cake.
- Divide strawberry mixture equally over pudding.
- Serve.
