Reuben
- 1 qt. sauerkraut, squeezed dry
- 2 cups KRAFT Thousand Island Dressing, divided
- 1-1/3 Tbsp. caraway seed, toasted, ground
- 32 slices dark rye bread
- 48 slices corned beef brisket, sliced
- 32 slices Swiss cheese slices, thinly sliced
- Combine sauerkraut, 1 cup dressing (or 1 Tbsp.
- dressing for trial recipe) and caraway seed.
- For each serving: Spread 1 Tbsp.
- of the remaining dressing onto 1 bread slice.
- Top 1 bread slice with 3 oz.
- corned beef, 1/4 cup sauerkraut mixture and 2 cheese slices.
- Broil until cheese begins to melt.
- Cover with second bread slice.
- Broil until sandwich is toasted on both sides, turning once.
