Five-Flavor Pound Cake Glaze
- 1 cup sugar granulated
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon coconut extract
- 1 teaspoon liquid butter flavoring imitation
- 1 teaspoon rum flavoring imitation
- 1 teaspoon lemon extract
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Combine sugar, water and flavorings in a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil.
- Pour half of the mixture over the cake while still in the pan.
- Keep other half of glaze warm.
- When first half of glaze has been absorbed, dump cake over and out of pan and pour remaining glaze very slowly over cake.
