Italian Meat Roll
- 1 large boneless round steak, tenderized
- salt, pepper and garlic salt
- 1 pkg. meat marinade
- 1/2 c. red wine
- 1/2 c. Italian style salad dressing
- 2 c. Italian bread crumbs
- 2 to 3 crumbled wet slices bread
- 1 c. minced onion
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small can pitted ripe olives, chopped
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- dash of oregano and parsley flakes
- 2 (32 oz.) jars Ragu spaghetti sauce
- Season round steak with salt, pepper and garlic salt. Marinate for 1 hour in marinade made with meat marinade, red wine and salad dressing.
- Remove from marinade and spread with mixture of bread crumbs, crumbled bread, onion, celery, green pepper, garlic, olives, Parmesan cheese and listed seasonings.
- Moisten mixture with marinade liquid.
- Roll steak and tie with cord.
- Bake in Ragu spaghetti sauce at 350u0b0, covered, for about 1 hour.
- Baste steak often with sauce.
- Slice roll for serving.
- Excellent with spaghetti.
- Serves 6 to 8.
