Boiled Cocoa Cookie

• 2 cups sugar
• 1/2 cup cocoa powder
• 1/2 cup milk
• 1 stick margarine
• 3 cups oats, quick cooking
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 x nuts optional

1. Place the sugar, cocoa and milk into a saucepan and bring to a boil.
2. Boil 2 minutes.
3. Remove from stove and add the 1 stick oleo, the vanilla and then the 3 cups oatmeal.
4. Add nuts if you wish.
5. Wait a minut or so and drop by teaspoonsful on WAXED PAPER and let set until cool.
6. Makes about 50 cookies.
