West Virginia Onion Rings

  1. Peel onion and cut into 1/8-inch thick slices.
  2. Separate into rings; dip rings into flour.
  3. Beat eggs with milk.
  4. Dip flour-coated rings into egg and milk, then dip into cracker meal.
  5. Fry onion rings in deep fat at 360F for two to three minutes, or until onion rings are golden brown.
  6. Drain on absorbent paper.
  7. Serve hot with broiled steak.
