Parmesan Rice
- 14 cup margarine
- 12 cup onion, diced
- 1 12 cups Minute Rice
- 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon powder or 1 teaspoon instant Oxo
- 1 12 cups water
- 10 ounces mushroom stems and pieces, drained
- 14 cup parmesan cheese
- Melt margarine in saucepan.
- Saute onion and raw rice about 5 minutes, until rice is golden brown.
- Add bouillon powder, water and mushrooms.
- Bring to boil, then cover and remove from heat.
- Let stand about 5 minutes, until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
- Add parmesan and serve.
