Weeknight Beef Skillet
- 3 cups Uncooked Yolk-free Whole Wheat Noodles
- 1 pound Lean Ground Beef (turkey Or Chicken Would Be Good Substitues)
- 1 whole Medium Green Pepper, Finely Chopped
- 16 ounces, weight Frozen Mixed Vegetables, Thawed And Drained
- 15 ounces, weight No Salt Tomato Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1- 1/2 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoons Salt
- 2 teaspoons Sugar
- Cook noodles according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, in a large nonstick skillet, cook beef and pepper until beef is no longer pink; drain.
- Stir in mixed vegetables, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, seasoning, salt and sugar; heat thoroughly.
- Drain noodles and serve with meat mixture.
