Hungarian Beef
- 1 12 lbs stewing beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 34 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons Hungarian paprika
- 12 teaspoon ground mustard
- 1 dash red cayenne pepper
- 1 12 cups water
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 14 cup water
- hot cooked noodles
- Brown the beef in a small amount of oil.
- Stir in next 9 ingredients.
- Simmer, covered 2-2 1/2 hours, or until meat is tender.
- Blend in flour and remaining 1/4 cup water and stir into sauce.
- Cook until thickened.
