We Call It: Chicken Mozzarella Recipe
- 2 chicken breasts, separated into 4 pcs
- 1 (1 lb.) cube of Mozzarella cut into quarters
- 1 stick of butter
- 1/2 teaspoon rosemary
- 1/2 teaspoon marjoram
- Plain bread crumbs crushed fine
- Toothpicks (colored, preferrably)
- White cooking wine of your choice
- Heat down the stick of butter; remove from heat.
- Crush the rosemary and marjoram leaves into the melted butter.
- You may also add in a touch of pepper to taste.
- Dip each piece of chicken into the butter mix and then into the bread crumbs.
- Take a cube of Mozzarella and lay it in the center of each chicken piece and bring ends of chicken up around Mozzarella securing each side with a toothpick.
- Arrange chicken in baking dish and cook for 20 min at 350 degrees; pour the wine over the chicken uniformly, then bake for another 20 min at 350 degrees.
- Remove toothpicks before eating!
