Savory Buttermilk Chicken

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees .
  2. Line a jelly-roll pan with foil (for easy clean-up).
  3. Mix flour, cheese and seasonings in a plastic bag.
  4. Dip chicken in buttermilk, then place in bag with flour mixture and shake until coated.
  5. Arrange in a single layer in pan, meat side up.
  6. Drizzle melted butter over the chicken.
  7. Bake for 50 minutes.
  8. Increase oven temperature to 400 degrees and bake for another 10 minutes to make the crust crispy.
  9. Make sure chicken is completely cooked.
  10. Do not turn chicken pieces while it is baking.
