Bacon Dip
- 10 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 tablespoon bacon drippings
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 14 cup mayonnaise (or salad dressing)
- 1 tablespoon green onion, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 12 teaspoon seasoning salt (I now use a salt-free blend)
- Cook bacon until crisp and set aside.
- Combine the 1 tablespoon of drippings with the yogurt & mayonnaise.
- Add the green onion, parsley, seasoned salt and the bacon, mixing well.
- Cover and refrigerate for several hours (or overnite) for the flavours to blend.
