Apple Tarragon Baked Grouse Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Shake flour in regular size (10" by 16") Reynolds Oven Bag; place in 9- by 9- by 2-inch baking pan.
  3. Add in cider; mix to dissolve flour.
  4. Add in remaining ingredients except grouse and apple; turn bag to mix.
  5. Cut apple into 4 rings.
  6. Add in grouse to bag; top with apple rings.
  7. Close bag with nylon tie and make 6 half-inch slits in top.
  8. Cook 30 min or possibly till meat tests done.
  9. Serve sauce over grouse and apples.
  10. This recipe yields 2 to 3 servings.
