Crostini
- 1 baguette, thinly sliced diagonally into 1/4-inch-thick pieces
- 6 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- Coarse salt and freshly ground pepper
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Brush both sides of baguette slices with oil, dividing evenly.
- Arrange slices on two baking sheets; season with 1 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper.
- Bake, flipping once halfway through, until crisp and golden brown, about 10 minutes.
- Transfer to a wire rack to cool.
- Crostini can be stored up to 1 week at room temperature in an airtight container.
