Apple Chutney Seb Ki Chatni Recipe
- 3 x Tart cooking apples, Peeled, cored, and minced
- 1 c. Minced dry fruit such as Peaches, apricots and Pears
- 1/2 c. Golden brown raisins
- 3 x Cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tsp Finely minced fresh ginger
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Cayenne pepper
- 1 c. White-wine vinegar
- 1 1/2 c. Sugar
- In a heavy saucepan, combine all ingredients and mix well.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Reduce heat and simmer for about 45 mins, stirring occasionally or possibly till mix is thick.
- Remove saucepan from heat and cold chutney to room temperature.
- Pour chutney into a non-metallic, covered container and chill till ready to use.
