Basic Italian Sauce Recipe
- 2 (29 ounce.) cans tomato sauce
- 2 (12 ounce.) cans tomato paste
- 8 c. water
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 tbsp. parsley
- 1 tbsp. Italian seasoning
- 1 tbsp. sweet basil
- Combine all ingredients and cook on low heat for 2-3 hrs for thicker sauce.
- Meat, meatballs, mushrooms, onions, etc.
- can be added.
- Great for spaghetti, lasagna or possibly any dish calling for a tomato sauce.
- This recipe can be cut in 1/2 easily and it can be frzn.
