Bread Dip Recipe
- 2 (16 ounce.) lowfat sour cream
- 4 tbsp. mayonnaise
- Onion pwdr
- Dry dillweed
- 1 (3 lb.) round loaf marble rye bread
- 2 Packages chipped beef
- Dry diced onions
- Garlic pwdr
- Chop chipped beef into small squares.
- In large bowl, mix lowfat sour cream, mayonnaise, and diced chipped beef.
- Season to taste with dillweed (approximately 1 1/2 Tbsp.
- ), onion pwdr (approximately 2 tsp.
- ), garlic pwdr (approximately 2 tsp.
- ), and dry diced onions (3 Tbsp.
- ).
- Hollow out the center of the bread, leaving about 1 inch of bread around the outside edge.
- Cut the center piece which you take out of the center into bite size pcs.
- Place the hollowed loaf of bread on a round serving tray.
- Be sure there is sufficient room around the outside of the bread to arrange the pcs of bread.
- Pour the mix into the center of the hollowed bread.
- Keep refrigerated till served.
