Apple Betty

• 1 (21 ounce) can apple pie filling (or your choice)
• 1 (18 ounce) box yellow cake mix
• 14-12 cup butter
• nuts (optional)

1. Spread the pie filling on the bottom of a 9x9 pan.
2. Take the cake mix and spread only 1/2 of it on top of the filling.
3. Melt butter and pour over cake mix.
4. Sprinkle nuts, if using.
5. Bake for 30-45 minutes in a 375 degree oven.
6. Serve as soon as desired with ice cream, whipped cream, or any other of your favorite toppings.
7. This recipie is easily doubled.
