Maple Almond Butter
- 2 cups Almonds
- 1/4 cups Real Maple Syrup, (not Pancake Syrup)
- 3 teaspoons Coconut Oil, Divided Use
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoons Cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoons Salt
- Preheat oven to 300 F. Place almonds on a baking sheet and toss with maple syrup and 2/3 of the coconut oil.
- Spread them in an even layer.
- Roast for about 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through.
- Remove from oven.
- Let them cool for 10 minutes.
- Place roasted almonds into food processor and process until smooth.
- Youll need to stop and scrape down the sides.
- This should take about 5 minutes.
- Once creamy, add vanilla, cinnamon, salt, and the remaining 1/3 of the coconut oil and process until well combined.
