Hedgiehog's Chicken Tikka Masala

  1. Rinse the chicken, pat dry and cut into bite size pieces.
  2. Begin making the marinade:.
  3. Combine all marinade ingredients and coat the chicken with it.
  4. Leave in refrigerator for several hours or preferably overnight.
  5. Cook the chicken either on a grill or under broiler.
  6. For the sauce:.
  7. On medium heat , cook the onions in melted ghee or butter.
  8. After a few minutes, add in garlic and chilies.
  9. Add in all the spices and brown sugar.
  10. Stir in chicken and tomato sauce.
  11. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  12. Add in the cream and combine.
  13. Garnish with chopped cilantro.
