Make-Ahead Sour Cream Drops

  1. Beat butter in a mixing bowl for 30 seconds.
  2. Add sugar, baking powder, soda, and cardamon; beat until combined.
  3. Beat in sour cream until combined.
  4. Beat in as much flour as you can; stir in any remaining flour.
  5. Drop dough by rounded teaspoons onto cookie sheets lined with waxed paper.
  6. Place sheets in freezer; freeze 45 minutes or until firm.
  7. Transfer mounds to freezer bags or containers.
  8. Freeze up to 6 months.
  9. To bake: Place frozen mounds 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
  10. Bake in a 350F (180C) oven about 12 minutes, until edges begin to brown.
  11. Remove; cool.
