Banana Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Lightly grease 9-by-5-inch loaf pan with oil.
  3. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon.
  4. Whisk together applesauce, sugar, egg whites, bananas and vanilla.
  5. Add flour mixture all at once and stir gently to blend.
  6. Do not overbeat.
  7. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and bake 45 to 50 minutes or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
  8. Cool bread completely before slicing.
