No-Fry Candied Sweet Potatoes
- 1 medium to large Sweet potato
- 1 tbsp Oil (Vegetable)
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- Preheat the oven to 200C.
- Wash and cut the sweet potatoes.
- For the candied version, cut into chunks.
- For the fried version, cut into long and narrow strips.
- But really, you can just cut them into whatever size you want.
- Put the cut potatoes and oil into a plastic bag.
- When the potatoes are coated in oil, add the sugar.
- Rub into the potatoes so that they are covered.
- Spread out onto a baking sheet in a single layer.
- The baking time depends on the size of the potatoes, but basically it's about 10-20 minutes.
- This is what the sweetened sweet potato fries look like when they're done!
- If you coat with maple syrup after they're done baking, it's so good.
