Choco Caramel Top Hats Recipe
- 1 (14 ounce.) pkg. caramels
- 1/4 c. whipping cream
- 2 c. walnuts
- 6 ounce. chocolate chips
- Unwrap caramels and combine with cream in top of double boiler.
- Heat over simmering water about 1 hour.
- Stir till smooth.
- Break walnuts coarsely and stir it.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls on a buttered cookie sheet.
- Let stand till hard.
- Meanwhile, heat chocolate chips over warm water till melted.
- Spread on top of caramels.
- Let stand till hard.
