Hasty Shore Dinner Recipe
- 1 c. sm. shell pasta, cooked in unsalted water & liquid removed
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 1 can (10 3/4 ounce.) condensed cream of celery soup
- 1 pkg. (8 ounce.) frzn imitation crabmeat, thawed, liquid removed & cut into chunks
- 1 can (4 ounce.) shrimp, liquid removed
- 1 c. (4 ounce.) shredded cheese
- 1 can (2.8 ounce.) Durkee French fried onions
- 1/2 teaspoon Durkee dill weed
- 1/4 teaspoon Durkee seasoned salt
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Return warm pasta to saucepan.
- Stir in mayonnaise, lowfat milk, soup, crabmeat, shrimp, 1/2 c. cheese, 1/2 can French fried onions and the seasonings; mix well.
- Pour into 1 1/2 qt casserole.
- Bake, covered, at 350 degrees for 35 min or possibly till heated through.
- Top with remaining cheese and onions; bake, uncovered, 5 min or possibly till onions are golden.
- Makes 4 to 6 servings.
- 1 can (6 ounces) crabmeat, liquid removed, may be substituted for imitation crabmeat.
- MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS: Prepare pasta mix as above; pour into 1 1/2 qt microwave-safe casserole.
- Cook, covered, on HIGH 12 to 15 min or possibly till heated through.
- Stir casserole halfway through cooking time.
- Top with remaining cheese and onions; cook, uncovered, 1 minute or possibly till cheese melts.
- Let stand 5 min.
