Applesauce Oatmeal Cookies

• 1 3/4 cups flour, all-purpose
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
• 1/2 teaspoon cloves powdered
• 1 cup applesauce
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 cup vegetable shortening
• 1 cup sugar white
• 1 each eggs
• 1 cup raisins, seedless
• 1 cup rolled oats quick cooking

1. Mix shortening with sugar and egg until creamy.
2. Combine applesauce with soda.
3. Mix well add rest of ingredients and mix well.
4. Drop by teaspoon 2 inch apart on greased cookie sheet.
5. Bake 350F (180C).
6. 20 minutes or until golden brown.
