Meatball .... Giant Meatball Sandwich

• 1 lb ground chuck
• 12 lb pork sausage
• 2 cups spaghetti sauce with peppers and mushrooms
• 1 garlic clove, minced
• 1 loaf Italian bread
• 6 ounces sliced provolone cheese

1. Combine ground chuck and sausage, shape into 1" meatballs.
2. Cook meatballs in a large skillet over medium heat for 8-10 minutes or until browned.
3. Drain meatballs on paper towel, discard drippings.
4. Combine meatballs, spaghetti sauce and garlic in skillet.
5. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer uncovered 12-15 minutes, stir occasionally.
6. While the sauce is simmering, slice bread in half horizontally.
7. Place bread, cut side up on a baking sheet.
8. Broil 5 1/2" from heat 1-2 minutes and is lightly toasted.
9. Spoon meatball mixture over bottom half of toasted bread, arrange cheese on top of meatballs.
10. Cover with top of bread.
11. Cut sandwich into 6 pieces; serve hot.
