Cedar Plank Sockeye Salmon
- 1 Cedar Grill Plank, Soaked In Water For 1 Hour
- 1 pound Alaskan Sockeye Salmon
- 1- 1/2 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 pinch Seasoning Of Your Choice
- 1 Tablespoon Lemon Thyme, Finely Chopped
- 1 Lemon, Halved
- Make sure your grill plank has been soaked in water for at least 1 hour before.
- Preheat the grill to high and keep one side on a low heat.
- Place the salmon on the plank and drizzle it with the olive oil.
- Season well, I used some lemon pepper seasoning.
- Sprinkle with the chopped thyme.
- Place the plank onto the grill on the indirect side of the heat.
- Grill for about 10 minutes or until the salmon is slightly firm to the touch.
- Dont overcook it as itll keep cooking after it comes off the grill.
- When done remove plank from the grill and plate it as desired.
- Squeeze the lemon over the salmon and serve at once.
