Cedar Plank Sockeye Salmon

  1. Make sure your grill plank has been soaked in water for at least 1 hour before.
  2. Preheat the grill to high and keep one side on a low heat.
  3. Place the salmon on the plank and drizzle it with the olive oil.
  4. Season well, I used some lemon pepper seasoning.
  5. Sprinkle with the chopped thyme.
  6. Place the plank onto the grill on the indirect side of the heat.
  7. Grill for about 10 minutes or until the salmon is slightly firm to the touch.
  8. Dont overcook it as itll keep cooking after it comes off the grill.
  9. When done remove plank from the grill and plate it as desired.
  10. Squeeze the lemon over the salmon and serve at once.
