Smoky Salmon Roll Ups Recipe
- 1 (7 1/2 ounce.) can salmon, liquid removed & flaked
- 1/4 c. mayonnaise or possibly salad dressing
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
- 1 teaspoon grated onion
- 1/4 teaspoon liquid smoke
- Pastry for single-crust 9" pie
- Paprika

- Combine all ingredients except pastry and paprika in small bowl; mix thoroughly.

- Divide pastry in half.
- Roll out 1 half into a 9" circle.
- Spread with 1/2 c. of the salmon mix.
- Cut into 16 wedge shaped pcs.
- Roll up jelly roll style, beginning at round edge.
- Repeat procedure with remaining dough.

- Place rolls on 15"x10"x1" jelly roll pan.
- Prick tops to allow steam to escape.
- Sprinkle with paprika.
- Bake in preheated 450 degree oven till lightly browned, 10 to 15 min.
- Makes 32.
- Canned smoked salmon may be substituted for canned salmon and liquid smoke.
- Smoky Salmon Roll-Ups can be prepared to this point and refrigerated, covered with plastic wrap, up to 1 hrs before baking.
- Let stand at room temperature 20 min before baking.
