Prickly Pear Margarita

• 3 oz tequila
• 1/2 oz cointreau
• 1 1/2 oz lime juice
• 2 oz prickly pear syrup
• 2 1/2 lb prickly pears (cactus fruit)
• 1/2 cup water
• 1 cup sugar

1. mix all the ingredients for the Margarita with some ice
2. garnish the rim of a nice shaped glass with brown sugar and a little bit of salt.
3. Enjoy!
