Lima Bean Soup With Tomato

  1. Mash about 2 cups of the lima beans with a fork and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, saute onion, thyme, and garlic in butter until tender, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  3. Add mashed lima beans, whole lima beans, broths, and tomato.
  4. Simmer a few minutes to heat through and serve.
