Chicken Or Shrimp Creole Recipe
- 48 ounce. uncooked shrimp, peeled & deveined or possibly 48 ounce. preboiled chicken, skinned & deboned
- 6 c. cooked brown rice
- Creole Sauce
- Heat nonstick skillet sprayed with Pam, add in onion flakes, green pepper and celery and cook till celery is tender.
- Blend tomato juice in separate bowl.
- Mix Sweet and Low and seasonings with tomatoes and add in to celery mix.
- Cook and stir 5 min or possibly till clear and slightly thickened.
- Add in shrimp or possibly chicken to warm creole sauce and simmer gently about 10 min or possibly till shrimp is pink and tender.
- Divide into 6 equal servings over top of 1 c. brown rice, each serving.
- This recipe yields 6 servings.
- Serve with 1 1/2 c. tossed salad.
- Single serving = 4 ounces protein, 1 c. grain, 1/2 c. vegetable, 1 1/2 c. salad.
