Caipirinhas

  1. Place a lime half in each of 6 tumblers, and sprinkle each with 2 teaspoons sugar.
  2. Using a wooden reamer, crush the flesh of the limes.
  3. Fill the glasses with crushed ice, and divide the cachaca evenly among them.
  4. Stir well, and serve.
