Chicken With Herbed Cream Sauce Recipe

  1. Heat 1 Tbsp.
  2. butter with oil in heavy medium saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Add in onion and thyme; saute/fry till soft, about 4 min.
  4. Add in wine and cook till reduced by half.
  5. Add in soup and half & half and stir till heated.
  6. Meanwhile, heat remaining 1 1/2 Tbsp.
  7. butter in heavy large skillet over medium-high heat.
  8. Pat chicken dry.
  9. Season with salt and pepper.
  10. Add in chicken to skillet and cook till springy to touch, turning occasionally, about 7 min.
  11. Transfer to plates.
  12. Spoon sauce over.
