5 spice Country Pork Ribs
- 1 packages country pork ribs
- 1 tbsp asian 5 spice powder
- 1 tbsp minced ginger
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp white pepper
- Combine garlic, ginger, soy, vinegar, sugar, and pepper.
- Whisk together
- Stir sesame oil in slow, steady stream to incorporate.
- Add ribs and marinate up to 48 hours.
- Pat ribs dry.
- Season with 5 spice.
- Wrap in foil pocket.
- Cook at 400 for 20 minutes.
- Uncover.
- Cook another 20 minutes or until ribs are caramelized and tender.
- Variations: Mustard, wasabi, mirin, sake.
