Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies #1 Recipe
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 c. shortening or possibly 3/4 c. butter, softened
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 2/3 c. Reese's peanut butter chips
- 1 c. Hershey's semi-sweet chocolate pcs
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Stir together flour and baking soda.
- In another bowl, beat shortening, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla.
- Add in Large eggs; beat well.
- Gradually add in flour mix, beating well.
- Stir in chips.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake 8-10 min or possibly till lightly browned.
- Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
