Whole Wheat Cinnamon Rolls Recipe

  1. Pour warm water over butter in mixing bowl and let butter soften.
  2. Add in honey, Large eggs and salt.
  3. Combine the powdered lowfat milk with 2 c. whole wheat flour and sift into the other ingredients; mix well.
  4. Add in the yeast and blend.
  5. Gradually add in remaining whole wheat flour and sufficient high gluten flour to make a sticky dough.
  6. Knead on floured surface for 10 min.
  7. Cover with a towel and let rise till double.
  8. Divide dough into 2 sections and roll on lightly floured board.
  9. Brush with melted butter.
  10. Sprinkle with generous amount of cinnamon and sugar.
  11. Roll up like jelly roll and cut into 1/2 inch rolls.
  12. Placed on greased baking sheet and smash with palm of hand.
  13. Let rise till double.
  14. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 min.
  15. 3 dozen rolls.
