Tuscan Chickpea Bruschetta
- 1 whole wheat baguette (350 g), cut diagonally into 40 slices
- 1 large garlic clove
- 1 can (19 fl oz/540 mL) chickpeas (garbanzo beans), rinsed
- 1 tomato, chopped
- 1 cup chopped cucumbers
- 1/2 cup slivered red onions
- 1/4 cup Kraft 100% Parmesan Aged Grated Cheese
- 1/4 cup Kraft Extra Virgin Olive Oil Italian Sun-Dried Tomato Dressing
- Heat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Place bread slices in single layer on baking sheet.
- Bake 7 to 8 min.
- or until toasted on both sides, turning after 4 min.
- Rub edges of toast slices with garlic.
- Combine remaining ingredients; spoon onto toast slices, adding about 2 Tbsp.
