sponge cake
- 3/4 cup corn flower
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp bi-carb soda
- 1 tsp cream of tata
- 4 eggs
- sift all dry ingredients into separate bowl
- separate egg whites, beat until soft peaks
- keep yolks
- slowly add sugar to egg whites and beat again
- add yolks one by one while continuing to beat.
- add dry mixture, folding it together with spatula, being careful not to knock the air out of the mixture
- place in cake tin and bake at 180F for 30 min or until golden brown and bounces back when touched
