Yakitori

  1. Prepare hot fire.
  2. Cut chicken into 1 1/2 inch cubes.
  3. Cut scallions into 2 inch lengths, with some green tops.
  4. Thread 3 or 4 pieces of chicken onto 12 skewers, alternating with pieces of scallion.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together remaining ingredients.
  6. Place skewers on an oiled grill and brush with soy mixture, turning occasionally, until chicken is white through, 5-7 minutes.
