German Chocolate Caramel Brownies

  1. Melt caramels in a double boiler oe microwave.
  2. Stir in 1/3 cup milk andset aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix butter and remaining milk; set half aside and press other half into a greased 13x9x2-inch baking pan.
  4. Bake at 350F for 6 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
  6. Pour caramel mixture over, spoon reserved cake mixture on top.
  7. Return to oven for 20 minutes.
