Baby Back Barbecue Ribs Recipe

  1. Preheat grill to medium or possibly preheat oven to 450 .
  2. Center half of ribs in single layer on each sheet of foil.
  3. Combine brown sugar and seasonings; rub over ribs, turning to coat proportionately.
  4. Bring up sides of foil and double fold.
  5. Double fold one end to seal.
  6. Through open end, add in 1/4 c. water.
  7. Double fold remaining end, leaving room for heat circulation inside packet.
  8. Repeat for second packet.
  9. Grill 45 to 60 min in covered grill.
  10. Remove foil; place ribs on grill or possibly bake 45 to 60 min on a cookie sheet in oven.
  11. Remove foil; place ribs on broiler pan.
  12. Brush ribs with barbecue sauce.
  13. CONTINUE GRILLING Or possibly BROILING 4 to 5 inches from broiler, 10 to 15 min, brushing with sauce and turning every 5 min.
  14. Makes 6 servings.
  15. Note: Three or possibly four ice cubes may be substituted for the water in each packet of ribs, if you like.
