Championship Soccer Ball Cake

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare cake batter as directed on package; pour 1 cup into greased 2-cup ovenproof glass bowl.
  2. Pour remaining batter into greased foil-lined 13x9-inch baking dish.
  3. Bake both cakes 25 to 30 min.
  4. or until toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean.
  5. Cool in bowl and dish 10 min.
  6. ; invert onto wire racks.
  7. Remove bowl and dish; cool cakes completely.
  8. Reserve 1/2 cup COOL WHIP; stir food coloring into remaining COOL WHIP.
  9. Transfer 13x9-inch cake to platter; frost with green COOL WHIP.
  10. Invert round cake onto separate plate as shown in photo; spread with reserved COOL WHIP.
  11. Place on top of 13x9-inch cake.
  12. Decorate with black decorating gel as shown in photo to resemble soccer ball.
  13. Keep refrigerated.
