Championship Soccer Ball Cake
- 1 pkg. (2-layer size) white cake mix
- 1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed, divided
- 5 drops green food coloring
- black decorating gel
- Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare cake batter as directed on package; pour 1 cup into greased 2-cup ovenproof glass bowl.
- Pour remaining batter into greased foil-lined 13x9-inch baking dish.
- Bake both cakes 25 to 30 min.
- or until toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean.
- Cool in bowl and dish 10 min.
- ; invert onto wire racks.
- Remove bowl and dish; cool cakes completely.
- Reserve 1/2 cup COOL WHIP; stir food coloring into remaining COOL WHIP.
- Transfer 13x9-inch cake to platter; frost with green COOL WHIP.
- Invert round cake onto separate plate as shown in photo; spread with reserved COOL WHIP.
- Place on top of 13x9-inch cake.
- Decorate with black decorating gel as shown in photo to resemble soccer ball.
- Keep refrigerated.
