Quickens

  1. Melt butter in a 3 qt.
  2. saucepan over low heat.
  3. Stir in milk, cocoa and sugar; bring to a low boil while stirring.
  4. Boil 1 minute only, being careful not to scorch the sugar.
  5. Remove from heat and add the rest of the ingredients, except oatmeal, and mix thoroughly.
  6. Add oatmeal; mix well to ensure the peanut butter melts.
  7. Drop by spoonfuls onto a waxed paper covered cookie sheet.
  8. Chill.
  9. Once cool store them in the refrigerator or freezer.
