Cherry Blossom Brocade
- 1 lemon wedge
- Sugar
- 1 long strip of grapefruit zest, for garnish
- Ice
- 1 1/2 ounces genever, preferably Bols
- 1/2 ounce Heering cherry liqueur
- 1/4 ounce absinthe
- 3/4 ounce fresh Ruby Red grapefruit juice
- 2 dashes of grapefruit bitters
- Moisten half of the outer rim of a chilled rocks glass with the lemon wedge and coat lightly with sugar.
- Arrange the grapefruit zest in the glass.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Add the genever, cherry liqueur, absinthe, grapefruit juice and bitters to the shaker and shake well.
- Strain the drink into the prepared rocks glass.
