Korean Marinade
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup sesame oil
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp ginger paste
- 2 tbsp dried minced onions
- 1 tbsp garlic paste
- 1 tbsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 bunch scallions; mince
- Combine all ingredients into a large mixing bowl.
- Whisk.
- Make marinade a day or two ahead of time before marinating meats or veggies for flavors to develop.
- Great for veggies, chicken, pork, beef, and seafood!
- Variations; Coconut extract, Sriracha, black or white pepper, rice vinegar, mirin, sesame seeds, tamari, leeks, chives, cayenne, caramelized onions, jalapenos, habanero, celery seed, lemongrass
